The Greening of Detroit will be giving away 400 potted trees to residents of Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck! We need volunteer support to help give the trees out to residents.
You can expect to volunteer from 1:00pm - 5:00pm and should prepare for the following:
Wear close-toed work shoes / boots.
Bring work / gardening gloves (we will have gloves available on-site if needed!).
Dress for the weather and to get messy (the event goes on rain or shine, please wear layers!).
Training will be provided on-site.
Bring a water bottle / snack (we will have a refillable water jug on-site!).
We will have a clean port-a-potty on-site for volunteers to use.
