Did you receive a tree planting flyer? That means we’re planting in your area this season! In the form below, please give your information and sign up to request a certain tree species or opt out of the program.
*Disclaimer: Our team will do our best to honor your first tree choice, but due to tree availability, your first tree choice is not guaranteed. Receiving a tree is not 100% guaranteed. In some cases, we are unable to plant due to obstructions (i.e. power lines, utility lines) or berm size. Our team optimizes planting locations to benefit the tree and resident.*
We will work with you to choose the best species for your home. All trees will be planted on the berm (easement / public property area between the sidewalk and the street) in front of your house; we will notify you when that planting will occur. The Greening of Detroit will provide maintenance in the first 3 years; we encourage homeowners to also water and care for their tree.
